Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the AI GAS SYSTEMS platform, our engineering consultation services and this website. Please read them carefully — section 7 explains the limits of our liability and the responsibilities that remain with your certified engineer.

2. Scope of services
We provide software and consultation services for gas infrastructure engineering. Depending on your agreement with us, this may include AI-assisted piping design, gas station infrastructure planning, gas storage facility design, engineering validation and technical documentation generation.
2.1 What the platform produces
Outputs generated by the platform — including layouts, calculations, drawings, schedules and compliance documentation — are engineering drafts and decision-support material. They are a starting point for professional engineering work, not a finished, approved design.
2.2 What the platform does not do
- It does not certify, approve or authorise any design for construction.
- It does not replace statutory inspection, testing or commissioning.
- It does not remove any duty placed on you by gas safety legislation applicable in your jurisdiction.
2.3 Availability
We aim to keep the platform available continuously, but we may suspend access for maintenance, updates or security work. We will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where we can.
3. Certified engineer review — mandatory
All designs, drawings and calculations produced with our platform must be reviewed, verified and approved by a suitably qualified and certified engineer before they are used for construction, procurement, installation, commissioning or any regulatory submission. AI output is a tool that supports engineering judgement; it never substitutes for it.
By using the platform you confirm that you understand and accept the following:
- A named, appropriately certified engineer must carry out an independent review of every output before it is relied upon.
- That engineer retains full professional responsibility for the design they sign off, exactly as they would for work produced by any other method.
- Automated compliance checking is an aid to review, not a substitute for it. A passing check does not constitute regulatory approval.
- Site-specific conditions, existing infrastructure and local regulatory requirements must be verified on the ground and cannot be assumed from uploaded data alone.
4. Your obligations
When using our website, platform or services you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current site data, capacity requirements and regulatory parameters — output quality depends directly on input quality.
- Ensure that anyone using the platform on your behalf holds the competence appropriate to the work they are performing.
- Comply with all gas safety legislation, hazardous area requirements and permitting obligations applicable to your project.
- Keep your account credentials secure and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the platform or its underlying models without our written agreement.
5. Data privacy and security
Project data is commercially sensitive and often safety-critical. We treat it accordingly.
5.1 What we collect
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, company, role and message you submit through our contact form or send us directly.
- Project data — site surveys, drawings, specifications and parameters you upload in order to generate designs.
- Technical data — limited information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working properly.
5.2 How we use it
We use your data to deliver the services you have asked for: responding to enquiries, generating designs, carrying out engineering review and providing support. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to provide the service or where the law requires it.
5.3 Our security commitments
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access to project data is restricted to personnel who need it to deliver your service.
- Uploaded project data is not used to train models for other customers without your explicit written consent.
- We retain project data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal or professional record-keeping obligations.
5.4 Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, request its deletion, or object to certain processing. Email info@aigassystems.com and we will respond within one month.
6. Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies and similar storage to remember your preferences and to help us understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
On your first visit you are asked to accept or decline. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and respected on subsequent visits. You can reverse it at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which will cause the consent notice to appear again.
Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are always active. Declining does not restrict your access to any part of this website.
7. Limitation of liability
Our platform is a tool. The engineer who approves a design carries responsibility for it. We are not the designer of record for any project and we do not act as your certifying engineer unless we have separately agreed to do so in writing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We provide the platform and its outputs without warranty that they are complete, error-free or fit for any particular site, project or regulatory framework.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, cost or regulatory penalty arising from designs that were built, procured or submitted without independent review and approval by a certified engineer.
- We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date data supplied to the platform.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings.
- Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability in connection with the services is limited to the fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, its models, its interface and all material on this website remain the property of AI GAS SYSTEMS LTD and its licensors.
You retain ownership of the project data you upload and of the designs you produce and approve. We claim no ownership over your drawings, specifications or completed projects. We grant you a licence to use platform outputs for the project they were generated for, subject to these terms.
9. Term and termination
These terms apply for as long as you use our website, platform or services. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where use presents a safety or security risk, or where fees are unpaid after reasonable notice.
On termination you may request an export of your project data. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, in applicable law or in regulatory guidance. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of our services falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
